The whole world is in a health crisis. Everyone is busy trying to adjust to the new normal way of life – from children going to school online to workers having to employ strict public health standards – things are literally changing.

For a lot of people, this can take a toll on their mental and emotional well-being.

Having to go through so many changes while trying to ensure that everyone in your family is in good health is tough to do.

To help families through this challenge, Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) is mounting a series of free webinars as part of its Family Life Enrichment Program (FLEP) with distinguished experts to share their thoughts and tips in maintaining overall wellness in these difficult times.

The first two topics of the series are “Positivity Boost in Times of Crisis” with Coach May SJ Soriano and “Healthy Brain, Joyful Life” by Coach RJ Goyeneche. The webinar will be this coming Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. via Zoom and Facebook Live.

According to CPMS President Marivic E. Bathan, they decided to start the webinar series in order to extend support not just to their students, but also to the people around them including their parents, guardians, and mentors, among others.

“CPMS chose to continue to exist because we love and value children. We do so with a strong partnership and close collaboration with the parents and the adults who take care of the children. They, too, need our support now more than ever. Their wellbeing greatly impact the environment they create at home.  Dr. Maria Montessori found that children thrive in a calm, positive, and nurturing environment.  To ensure this for the sake of the children, CPMS provides these seminars to empower and attend to the needs of the parents and adults.  CPMS has become the children’s extended family.,” she said.

The webinar series is open to parents, therapists, fellow educators, and whoever can benefit from the different topics that are lined up.

Those who wish to join may fill out the Google Registration Form to get a slot since it will be on a first come, first served basis. The link is: https://forms.gle/cbMShsnoFJnu2ooj9.
