A Merry Chocolatey Christmas

It was a sumptuous and meaningful Christmas gathering for the members of RMA News Team, over good food and delectable hot chocolate.

Last December 19, RMA News Team celebrated Christmas early at Misto Restaurant in Seda Ayala Center Cebu. The Christmas lunch was hosted by The Chocolate Queen Raquel T. Choa who has been a supporter of the team.

The Christmas Lunch started with appetizing Soup and Waldorf Salad. The entrée was Grilled Salmon Fillet with Saffron Sauce, a bestseller and recommended dish at Misto.

Grilled Salmon Fillet with Saffron Sauce

Cups of hot chocolate infused with various flavors were served by The Chocolate Queen herself together with her son Jonathan Choa. Flavors such as hibiscus, cinnamon, crematostada, salted caramel, and mint can turn your already dainty cup of hot chocolate into an utterly new experience.

“We want to continue elevate the chocolate experience,” said The Chocolate Queen as she shared that the flavors used for their choco powder products were imported all the way from Spain.

These new flavored chocolate drinks, as well as all other classic chocolate products of The Chocolate Chamber like the Cacao de Bola are currently available at the lobby of Seda Ayala Center Cebu.

Now, guests can enjoy a cup of chocolate at the comfort of the hotel’s lobby and dining area.

According to Gwen Dela Cruz, General Manager of Seda Ayala Center Cebu, they decided to partner with The Chocolate Chamber in order to promote homegrown brands to their guests.

She added that the hotel’s management has been coming up with new marketing and promotional ideas to address the needs of the people while also coping with the challenges brought by the pandemic.

Aside from their partnership with The Chocolate Chamber, Seda Ayala Center Cebu has been busy with their customizable food-to-go services which has been a hit over the past months.

Their other promos include Connect and Create wherein people can use the hotel’s wi-fi in order to work or spend time online for only P300 nett, inclusive of light snacks and unlimited coffee. They also have an Urban Getaway promo on weekends wherein for P800 nett, one can use the hotel’s pool and have P600 consumable for food and beverages.
