During this love month, you can savor your weekend as TCC offers a Cacao Orientation Course every 2nd and 4th Friday of February.
Many “chocolate lovers” didn’t know where chocolate came from, how it was made and who was involved in the production? As everyone loves chocolates, this is the best opportunity to join this kind of orientation.
Cacao Educator Mr. Edu T. Pantino will present the Rationale about the 3-hour orientation course on cacao and how it has become a part of the chocolate-drinking tradition among Filipinos.
Meanwhile, the “Chocolate Princess”, Hannah Mae T. Choa, will demonstrate Sikwate with the Senses using the 5S in Sikwate (Swirl, Smell, Sip, Swish, Swallow) as she shares a well-kept secret of The Chocolate Chamber through the evolution of the cacao beans.
Part of the orientation is Tasting the Tablea. Each participant gets to know cacao farming and taste Hannah’s creations like breads, cupcakes, cookies, champorado, tablea ensaymada, sikwate, chocondense and chocomallows during the Tsokolate Break at Ralfe Gourmet Casa De Cacao.
