CCCI announces new set of BOT

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) officially named its new set of Board of Trustees (BOT) elected through its first ever virtual BOT Elections, in partnership with PWC Isla Lipana & Co., during the CCCI Virtual General Membership Meeting on February 26 via Zoom.

41% of CCCI members in good standing participated in the e-voting that casted a total of 240 e-votes.

Encompassing various sectors of Cebu’s business community, this year’s BOT elections presented 10 vacant seats where 11 candidates vied for.

The new trustees for the industry sector are Cebu Steel Corporation Assistant to the President Charles Kenneth Co; Virginia Food, Inc Chairman and President Felix “Boy” Tiukinhoy, Jr.; and Interior Basic Export Corporation President Jay Yuvallos.

Elected for the trade sector are Baker Bob & Kates Bakery Products Founder and CEO Katherine “Kathy” Cheng; Prince Retail Group Holdings, Inc. President Robert Go; and Cebu Supergro Products Corporation President & Finance Manager Melita Ramos.

For the service sector the new trustees are Lilu Advertising & Marketing Solutions, Inc. Managing Director Lilo “Lilu” Aliño; Tanco & Partners Law Offices Founder and Senior Partner Atty. Joseph Tanco; and F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc. Director Allan Uy.

The sectoral association newly elected trustee is Cebu Alliance of Tour Operators Specialists (CATOS) President Alice Queblatin.

Germane to the mandate of CCCI in Connecting Opportunities, Growing Businesses, and Creating Value, the CCCI Board of Trustees are committed to serve and be the prime movers in promoting the interest of the Cebu business community.
