The University of San Jose Recoletos leads the Recoletos in the celebration of the 400 Presence of the Recollect Missionary in Cebu.
A commemorative mass and program will be held on April 29, 2021 at the Mt. Carmel parish Recoletos. This was announced by Fr. President Cristopher Maspara.

The Eucharistic Celebration will be preceded by the Unveiling Ceremony of the 400th Year Commemorative Marker, brief history, explanation of the logo and the Quadricentennial Prayer. A cultural program and lunch will complete the event.
Hermana General Dr. Mila C Espina and Hermana General Brenda Saliendra join the Recollect priests from the various parishes, Academe, the religious community led by Archbishop Jose Palma and Cebu’s government leaders.
The Recollect community has been instrumental in planting the seed of Christianity in Cebu and inculcating the Augustinian values of education and community involvement.
