The Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Cebu hosted and arranged, for the 4th time, the K-Pop World Festival in Cebu held last July 3, 2021 at Seda Hotel, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Consulate could not host the competition last year.

This year’s K-Pop competition was pushed through via online streaming. Initially, there were about 86 teams (452 persons) who auditioned. And out of this number, there were 18 successful finalists who were able to perform on the grand finals.

On the day of the grand finals, strict protocols and control measures were implemented and the event was live-streamed through local influencer Malaya Macaraeg’s Official Facebook page.

Everyone could still enjoy and witness the event while staying safe.
