CCCI SIGNS MOA WITH CEBU ONLINE NEWS PRESS CORPS

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) led by its President Mr. Charles Kenneth Co executed the Memorandum of Agreement with Cebu Online News Press Corps (CONPC) represented by its Founder Mr. Robby Mongaya Alugar for the project “ENTREPRENEUR OF THE DAY.”

CONPC is an organization composed of content creators, journalists, bloggers and media influencers.

The MOA was signed last February 23, 2023 together with CCCI Executive Director Ms. Joy Segismar and CONPC Founding Member Ms. Minerva Newman during the CCCI General Membership Meeting held at the Mediterranean Room of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

The Project “ENTREPRENEUR OF THE DAY” will commence this April 2023 where one Chamber member per day will be featured from Monday to Friday. The MOA also states that the Cebu Online News Press Corps, through its members, will disseminate Chamber-related articles such as but not limited to Press Releases, Trainings, Projects and advocacy initiatives through all their media platforms.

CCCI recognizes the value of fostering strong business and social relationships in order to enhance the overall interest of Cebu particularly the Cebu Chamber and its members through this partnership agreement with the CONPC. By embracing digitalization through an aggrupation of social and traditional media practitioners, CCCI aims to provide an effective and efficient way of promoting its members and the Chamber and its interests as a whole.

This Agreement aims to highlight the benefits of Chamber membership and the activities of the Chamber. The CONPC will serve as a virtual organization in promoting people-to-people interactions and engagements, thereby supporting the growth and vitality of the business community in Cebu.

Together, CCCI and the Cebu Online News Press Corps acknowledge the potential opportunities that can be achieved through a unified action of presenting the key stakeholders in the business community of Cebu who contribute to its economic progress.

After the MOA signing, the new members of Cebu Online News Press Corps was also inducted by CCCI President Mr. Charles Kenneth Co. The group aims to promote responsible use of both social media and traditional media through the sharing of accurate information. It envisions to provide only factual and verified information through social media, websites and the like.
