SM2SM Run is back on the race track! Now on its 11th year, the SM2SM Run slated on March 5, registered over 9000 runners from all over the country.
This year’s SM2SM Run will feature 4K, 8K, 12K, and 21K categories. The race route will include the scenic South Road Properties, Plaza Independencia, Barangay Mabolo,TESDA, leading to Banilad in Cebu City. The run starts in SM Seaside City Cebu going to SM City Cebu for 12K and 21K categories.
Gun starts at 4AM for 21K, 4:30AM for 12K, 4:45AM for 8K, and 5AM for 4K runners. The SM run, hailed to be one of the biggest and cash-rich running event in the Visayas will be giving away over P650,000 worth of cash prizes to the winning runners plus a chance to win 11 Smart TVs, and a brand new Suzuki S-Presso during the raffle draw on March 5, after the run. SM will also be awarding cash prizes to the Biggest Group, and the Oldest Runner. In addition to the race categories, a PWD category has been added and will have their own set of winners and prizes. Awarding will happen at the Mountain Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu.
Part of the proceeds of the SM2SM Run 11 will fund the projects of Cebu Newspaper Workers Foundation, Inc.
