The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has hailed Cebu Business Month (CBM) 2025 as one of the most significant and impactful events in the Chamber’s history, drawing record participation and energizing the business community under the inspiring theme, Padayon Cebu.

CCCI President Jay Yuvallos and CBM 2025 Overall Chairman Anton Mari Perdices led the CBM 2025 Thanksgiving and Appreciation Event, where they acknowledged the success of this year’s month-long celebration and underscored its lasting impact on Cebu’s economic and civic landscape.

“Padayon Cebu has become more than just a theme but a rallying cry,” said Yuvallos. “It reflects our love for Cebu and our nation, and our collective drive to move forward despite the challenges.”

Yuvallos shared how the campaign launched before 4,000 energized students at the University of Cebu—a powerful symbol of pride, unity, and the rising potential of Cebu’s youth. He also emphasized CCCI’s forward-looking agenda focused on increasing Cebu’s global competitiveness and expanding the Chamber’s engagement beyond its traditional membership base. Key focus areas include partnerships with academic institutions, addressing regional challenges such as flooding, and advancing tourism and digital transformation initiatives.

Perdices described CBM 2025 as “a truly extraordinary journey” that celebrated Cebu’s vibrant economy and strong culture of collaboration.

“Growth does not happen in isolation,” he noted. “It thrives on collaboration, trust, and shared purpose.”

He spotlighted signature CBM 2025 events such as Cebu in a Bite, BAICON, the Tourism Forum, and the Technology and Innovation Forum, which featured global thought leaders. These programs collectively empowered local businesses, particularly MSMEs—with fresh insights, business strategies, and innovative tools.

The Chamber also announced that CBM 2026 will build on this momentum, with bold plans already in the pipeline.

“Stay tuned,” Perdices added. “CBM 2026 will be even bigger and bolder—we’re raising the bar once again.”
