Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Cebu maintained uninterrupted service to its city government customers during and after Typhoon Tino, keeping its Binaliw waste management facility open 24/7 while providing assistance to affected families.
PWS Cebu operated round-the-clock to receive debris from Cebu City and Mandaue City, key service areas of the company, supporting cleanup efforts and helping restore order and sanitation.
Alongside operational support, PWS Cebu provided aid to 2,700 families in Barangays Binaliw and Pit-os of Cebu City, as well as in Barangay Panoypoy and other affected barangays in the municipality of Consolacion.
Together with Prime Infra Foundation and Manila Water Foundation (MWF), PWS Cebu distributed grocery packs and five-gallon containers of drinking water to these communities.
Distribution operations were closely coordinated with local barangay leaders to ensure efficient delivery of aid. The relief efforts were supported by volunteers, including youth and residents from affected barangays, as well as staff members from PWS Cebu and Prime Infra Foundation.
PWS Cebu and MWF also facilitated water rationing services and refilling of drinking water for households in Barangay Binaliw, ensuring a continuous supply to one of the areas hardest hit by the storm.
Barangay Binaliw is the host community of PWS Cebu, where it operates a modern waste management facility equipped with state-of-the-art segregation equipment that maximizes resource recovery.
Financial assistance and relief goods were also distributed to PWS Cebu employees who were affected by Typhoon Tino.
“We continue to support our host and neighboring communities in any way we can,” PWS President Cara Peralta said. “Effective cleanup and recovery require close coordination with local leaders, so that relief efforts reach those who need them most.”

Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Cebu, Prime Infra Foundation, and Manila Water Foundation delivered aid to 2,700 families across Barangays Binaliw and Pit-os in Cebu City, as well as Panoypoy and other affected areas in the municipality of Consolacion.
