Junior Achievement (JA) Philippines mini-company KAPWA Co. from the University of San Jose-Recoletos Senior High School (USJ-R SHS) placed in the recently announced Top 10 Company of the Year for the JA Business Skills Pass (BSP) program, November 25, 2025.
The Josenian-led student company champions sustainability, innovation, and fashion-forward design through their Klimma Collection–a three-piece apparel line featuring transformable jackets that convert into sleeveless vests using detachable sleeve technology.

KAPWA Co. models flaunt the Klimma Jackets in LIKAS, GABI, and ALON, respectively.
Designed to help users cope with shifting weather conditions while catering to diverse style preferences, each Klimma Jacket minimizes the need for additional clothing and delivers a seamless balance of convenience, versatility, and sustainability.

Products from KAPWA Co.’s collection are available for purchase through order forms posted on its official Facebook page with the same name.
Among other Josenian-led student companies in the Top 10 were Dala-Dala Co. and Eco Co., underscoring values of Josenian excellence and student entrepreneurial spirit. Also included were companies from the Philippine Cultural College – Caloocan, St. Scholastica’s College Manila, and Taguig Science High School.
The Top 10 companies are set to enter the Company Interview Stage, where only the Top 2 will advance to the JA Asia Pacific Company of the Year finals.
The JA BSP, alongside the Company of the Year competition, aims to cultivate entrepreneurial insight, strategic leadership, and strong business acumen within students worldwide.
