The JCI Senate Philippines formally inducted Robert Go as its National President and launched its five flagship projects for 2026 during the organization’s 58th National Convention (NatCon 2026) and Joint Induction and Turnover Ceremonies held at Seda Ayala Center Cebu last January 30, 2026.
More than 200 delegates, including JCI Senators, members, partners, and guests from across the country, attended the national gathering, which highlighted leadership transition, fellowship, and the organization’s continued commitment to nation-building.

Go said the decision to launch the flagship projects in Cebu held personal significance, as he hails from the city.

“The launching of the flagship projects in Cebu is very significant for me because I am from Cebu and I am leading the JCI Senate Philippines this year as its president,” Go said. “We gathered delegates, guests, members, and partners to celebrate our achievements and to continue advancing JCI’s advocacies.”
The induction marked the formal transition of national leadership and the beginning of a new term focused on service, professional excellence, and social impact.
Five Flagship Projects for 2026
The five flagship projects reflect JCI Senate Philippines’ advocacy pillars, which include values formation, environmental sustainability, professional recognition, and public service.

The Ten Outstanding Filipino Physicians (TOFP) Awards recognizes Filipino doctors who choose to practice in the Philippines despite opportunities abroad. The program honors physicians for their dedication, patriotism, and service to underserved communities, helping address the country’s medical brain drain.
The Greenlink initiative establishes a global network of corporations and organizations committed to environmental protection and climate action. It promotes sustainable practices such as energy conservation, waste segregation, paper reduction, tree planting, green architecture, and rainwater harvesting.
The organization also continues its long-standing values advocacy program, We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty (W.A.T.C.H.), in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and other educational institutions. The program promotes punctuality and honesty among Filipino youth through free workshops nationwide. Presidential Proclamation No. 1782 declares June as W.A.T.C.H. Month.
Another flagship initiative is the Kasambahay Kasambuhay Award: Inspiring Our Heroes, developed in partnership with Palawan Express. The program recognizes Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), particularly household service workers, for their sacrifices and contributions while promoting Filipino values and encouraging employer support in host countries.
Completing the slate is The Outstanding Filipinos (TOFIL) Award, established in 1988 by the Philippine Jaycee Senate. The award honors Filipinos aged 41 and above whose exemplary achievements and contributions merit national recognition.

“These projects highlight our continuing commitment to nation-building,” Go said. “We acknowledge leadership, networking, fellowship, training, and service to the community as the enduring values of the JCI Senate.”
NatCon Cebu 2026

NatCon 2026 was hosted by JCI Senate Cebu, led by its newly inducted president, JCI Senator Barbara Pascua Cabo. The convention featured ceremonial rites, leadership recognitions, and networking activities aimed at strengthening camaraderie and reinforcing the organization’s mission of developing leaders and creating positive change nationwide.

The event reaffirmed JCI Senate Philippines’ role as a dynamic organization committed to service, leadership development, and nation-building.
