Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu invites epicureans to embark on a sensory voyage to the heart of the Mediterranean with the launch of Cocina de España at Tides. Debuting to members of the media on 16 May 2026, this curated dining experience pays homage to the rich heritage, bold flavours, and timeless traditions of classic Spanish gastronomy.

The Cocina de España showcase transforms Tides into a vibrant culinary theatre, offering an extensive spread that captures the very soul of the Iberian Peninsula. Guests will be treated to live stations and artisanal carvings, with a menu featuring the prized Jamón Ibérico and sizzling Gambas. The seafood selections shine brightly with the comforting warmth of Sopa de Mariscos (Spanish seafood soup) and a theatrical display of signature paellas, including the rich Paella Negra and the classic Paella Valenciana.

The buffet beautifully balances robust heritage comforts like Callos a la Madrileña, indulgent truffle and seafood croquetas, Pochero, and Pargo al Horno (Spanish-style baked whole red snapper). With an expansive spread that promises so much more to indulge and explore, the journey comes to a sweet finale with a collection of decadent Spanish desserts, anchored by freshly made, golden Churros.

Yet, in true Shangri-La fashion, local heritage remains beautifully intertwined with global flavours. Guests can rest assured that the resort’s famed Lechon—along with its beloved, celebratory Lechon Parade—remains an irreplaceable cornerstone of the evening, ensuring that the best of Cebuano warmth and tradition shines brightly alongside the Spanish feast.

The Cocina de España buffet at Tides welcomes guests nightly from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and is available at PHP 2,890 net per person.
