The Mother Butler Mission Guilds – Cebu Chapter, in partnership with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu, and SM City Cebu warmly invites the faithful to the Liturgical Exhibit fronting the Chapel of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 2nd Floor, North Wing, from July 21–22, 2026.
Held in commemoration of the 166th Birth Anniversary of Mother Marie Joseph Butler, the two-day exhibit showcases the beauty and richness of the Church’s liturgical heritage through sacred vessels, priestly vestments, and other liturgical objects used in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Visitors are invited to deepen their appreciation of the Church’s sacred signs and symbols as pathways to prayer, reflection, and a more profound encounter with Christ. The event opened earlier today with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 PM, followed by the public opening of the exhibit at 3:00 PM.
On July 22, the celebration continues with the Holy Mass at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Chapel in SM City Cebu, followed by the Raffle Draw at 3:00 PM, where one lucky participant will have the chance to win a priest’s vestment. The exhibit also serves as a fundraising initiative of the Mother Butler Mission Guilds, Inc., with proceeds supporting the provision of vestments for priests serving poor parishes, assisting teams of pastors, and funding the Guild’s various mission projects.
Everyone is encouraged to take part in this meaningful celebration of faith and service while honoring the enduring legacy of Mother Marie Joseph Butler.
