Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks a New Milestone in Memorial Care
A new chapter begins in the story of Haven of Peace Memorial Garden as it unveils its latest development: Serenity Viewing Chapel—a serene and purpose-built facility that provides families in Lapu-Lapu and neighboring areas with a dignified and accessible space for remembrance and farewell.

The Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony will take place at 9:00 AM in front of Haven of Peace Memorial Garden, across the main entrance. This solemn event is hosted by Rizon Property Holdings Corporation, the visionary force behind the memorial garden.

The Serenity Viewing Chapel is thoughtfully designed to reflect the values of respect, peace, and compassion in times of grief. This three-story modern facility will soon offer:
11 viewing chapels, including 2 luxury rooms with private dining and comfort rooms, and 9 standard air-conditioned rooms
Extendable spaces to accommodate larger gatherings
Public comfort rooms, a convenience store, and spacious balconies for designated smoking areas
Over 25 parking slots, including PWD-friendly spaces and ramps
Comfort lounges on every floor
Skylight-inspired design with an open-to-below feature for natural light and tranquility
Dual elevators (client and service use)
Dedicated garage for funeral vehicles
A secure, gated perimeter with a warm reception and administration office
This project responds to the growing need for accessible and dignified viewing facilities within Lapu-Lapu City, eliminating the need to travel to Metro Cebu, Mandaue, or Talisay for such essential services.
