AutoCount, a leading provider of integrated financial and business automation software, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City. The partnership aims to elevate accounting education through co-developed programmes, industry-relevant faculty training, and expanded career development opportunities for students.

The ceremony was attended by key representatives from both organisations. AutoCount’s Country Manager (Philippines), Mr. Vanadium Ho, signed the MOU on behalf of the company, reaffirming AutoCount’s commitment to advancing academic excellence and nurturing future talent. He was joined by partners Mr. Al Ryan Santiago, President of PhilVirtualOffice Business Support Services (AutoCount Silver Partner), and Mr. Christian Paro-An, President of RC Goldline Saleshop Corporation (AutoCount Gold Partner).

As part of the collaboration, AutoCount presented USC with an Award of Recognition for its contributions toward strengthening accounting education and preparing students for the evolving professional landscape. The partnership includes initiatives such as:

  • Integrating AutoCount software certification courses into USC’s accounting curriculum
  • Supporting faculty development through industry-aligned training
  • Enhancing internship pathways and career opportunities for USC graduates

“Partnering with the University of San Carlos, one of the Philippines’ most respected educational institutions, is a significant milestone for AutoCount,” said Mr. Vanadium Ho. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to equipping future accounting professionals with the technological skills and practical experience needed to thrive in today’s competitive workforce.”

“Looking ahead, this partnership will greatly benefit both students and industry by enhancing our students’ technological skills, preparing them to enter the workforce job-ready, and reducing employers’ efforts in providing additional training,” said Rev. Fr. Francisco Antonio T. Estepa, SVD, PhD, President at USC.

This strategic alliance is part of AutoCount’s broader corporate social responsibility and educational support initiatives across Southeast Asia, reinforcing the company’s belief in the power of technology and education to drive economic progress.
