MILES ON THE MENU FOR WELLNESS RUN 2026

Chef Janice Pasculado has a new concoction to serve on the table. No, it’s not a new pasta dish nor a decadent dessert, but a feast of miles! On April 12, Pasculado will take a different kind of heat as she takes on the role of race director for the Wellness Run 2026 at the Cebu Business Park in Cebu City.

Organized together with Leigh Carcel, Wellnes Run was born out of their same passion for health, wellness, and sustainable living. The run aims to build a community where people just don’t show up, but to take care of their health, to become mindful of the environment.

Despite it being her first time as race director, Pasculado draws confidence from her exposure to international marathons and her experience living in environments where running is deeply embedded in the culture. Generous cash prizes for the winners, loads of freebies and raffle prizes are up for grabs on race day.

Preparations are in full swing backed by a seasoned team led by Coach Elberto “Bert” Banzon, along with Coach Arvin Loberanis. Staying true to her disciplined approach, Pasculado remains hands-on, meticulously refining every detail as race day approaches.

The Wellness Run aims to draw 1,500 runners across five categories: 16K (PHP 1,500), 10K (PHP 1,300), 6K (PHP 950), 3K (PHP 900), and 1K (PHP 750).
