CPMS BUILDS CHILDREN FOR SUCCESS THROUGH ITS AUTHENTIC, HOLISTIC & VALUES-BASED MONTESSORI EDUCATION

Holistic experiential learning goes beyond the four walls of a classroom. Performing arts, outdoor activities, educational tours are just some of the many exciting adventures students need in order to develop into not just smart individuals, but also independent, critical minded, creative, responsible, resilient, collaborative and joyful ones.

For siblings Aidric, Alexis, and Joanna Semilla, their varied and colorful out-of-classroom experiences in Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) have helped them love learning about the world around them.

The three are pioneer students and alumni of CPMS. Looking back, Alexis shared that her exposure to choir performances, both local and international, and school plays & concerts at CPMS have taught her to discover what she is really good at and appreciate the performing arts.

For Joanna, the annual outdoor tours and camping with RAFI-Kool Adventure Camp and all outside the classroom exposure made her believe in herself more and develop confidence.

Meanwhile, Aidric recalled an experience when they went to Manila for an educational tour with the Grade 3-6, visiting Malacanang, the Senate, Tagaytay, museums, historical places, the University of the Philippines, etc. without their parents. He said it made him more independent and very responsible, which comes in handy now that he is in High School.

All three were in unison in saying that the different sets of values (C-R-E-A-T-E for Creativity, Respect, Excellence, Authenticity, Teamwork, & Empowerment) they gained during their formative years in CPMS have stayed in them through the years and for sure for the rest of their lives.
