As our Covid Heroes in Cebu continue to fight valiantly in this battle against the dreaded Covid-19 virus, Project Balik Buhay (PBB) through the PBB SalBaBida Program turns over the first tranche of salary and bonus assistance to the hardworking and dedicated Nurses attending to Covid patients across the different participating PBB Private Hospital Partners in Cebu.
Upon the initiative of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas, and through the collective generosity of the PBB Private Sector Foundation-Partners, the PBB SalBaBida Program, (Salary and Bonus Assistance for our Bidas) has released the first monthly allowance of P15,000.00* to the Nurses employed by the participating PBB Private Hospitals for August 2021, following the agreed upon program requirements.
The PBB SalBaBida Program is made possible through the generous support of the Cristina Lee Dino Foundation, SM Foundation, Inc., BDO Foundation, LH Foundation Inc., PLDT-Smart Foundation, Juanito I. King Foundation, Inc., Visayan Electric Co., Cebu Landmasters, Inc., Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Century Pacific Group RSPo Foundation Inc.
Witnessing the Ceremonial Turnover on September 13, 2021 at the Visayas Vaccine Operations Center in Oakridge Business Park, Mandaue City were Office of the Presidential Assistant to the Visayas Secretary Michael Dino, with IATF-7 Chief Implementer Ret. Gen. Mel Feliciano, DOH-7 Asst. Regional Director Dr. Guy Perez, OPAV Undersecretary Jonjie Gonzales and Project Balik Buhay Chairman Edmun Liu and Co-Chairman Kenneth Cobonpue.
The PBB Participating Private Hospital Partners include: Chong Hua Hospital – Fuente, Chong Hua Hospital – Mandaue, Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital Group, Perpetual Succour Hospital, ARC Hospital, Cebu Velez General Hospital, Adventist Hospital Cebu, Southwestern University Medical Center, St. Vincent General Hospital, The Hospital by Maayo Well, and Visayas Community Medical Center.
The PBB SalBabida Program was launched in July 2021 to help enable and encourage our Nurses attending to Covid patients across the participating Private Hospitals in Cebu. The two-month PBB SalBaBida Program will run until September 30, 2021 and is open to all Nurses directly employed by the PBB Participating Private Hospital Partners, whether as full-time or project-based employees.
