MCIA issues temporary entry restrictions for international arrivals

CEBU CITY– Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) who are non-Overseas Filipino Workers (Non-OFWs) and Foreign Nationals are temporarily prohibited from entering the country via Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) starting March 20 until April 19, 2021 per Memorandum Circular No. 5, s. 2021 issued by the National Task Force (NTF) on March 16, 2021.

However, passengers with Holders of 9(e) visas; Medical repatriation and their escort/s duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs (DFA-OUMWA) or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA); Distressed ROFs duly endorsed by the DFA-OUMWA; Emergency, humanitarian, and other analogous cases approved by the NTF COVID-19 are EXEMPTED from the said restriction.

All arriving passengers are advised to strictly comply with the arrival protocols and adherence to the minimum public health standards.
