Chef Kenny also led the Yee Sang Tossing Ceremony together with the media and influencers. Yee Sang is a popular Chinese colourful salad dish in Malaysia and Singapore. It is a part of the Chinese New Year tradition where people gather around the dining table and toss the ingredients high with chopsticks to welcome the new year with wishes of prosperity and abundance for everyone.

Guests can savor an array of carefully selected dishes, each thoughtfully crafted to accommodate a maximum of ten persons and featuring the restaurant’s signature flavors. From succulent Roasted Duck to tender Steamed Lapu-lapu, every dish is imbued with symbolism, representing abundance and blessings.

During the media preview, Chef Kenny presented the Set Menu A, Gong Xi Fa Cai which composed of the following dishes: Lo Hei Yu Seng, Braised Assorted Sea Treasure & Bamboo Pith Soup, Slow-cook Pork Knuckles with Sea-moss, Golden Prawns with Salted Egg, Braised Home-Made Tofu with Lohan Style, Roasted Golden Crispy Chicken, Superior Fried Rice with Shrimp & Pork Brisket, Chilled Assorted Jelly and the Deep Fried Tikoy with Sweet Potato.

To complement the dining experience, Hai Shin Lou offers its special Koi Fish Tikoy, also known as Nian Gao, priced at P688 per order or P1,288 per pair. Nian Gao, a traditional sticky rice cake, holds cultural significance, believed to bring luck and prosperity in the new year.
